  • This is the VPN to utilize moving forward for all Peoplesoft back-end and non-prod access.
  • Please submit a ticket to ITS if you are having issues. Your VPN security level may not be high enough.
  • Additionally, use this link to find your public IP address & Hostname as ITS will need to verify that your account has been provisioned into the correct L1 data access VPN Group.

Box at San Francisco State University (SF State) is a secure storage service available to faculty, staff, and students for Level 1 data.

Staff can access services outside of the ServiceNow catalog, either because ITS does not host them or because other business units perform them.

The Development (DEV) Environments are run by ITS, and house the following environments:

  • CBSFDVL (DVL): Reserved for ITS programmers to perform development jobs.

    • CISCO VPN is needed.
  • CBSFTST (TST): Used for User Acceptance/Functional Testing; access is granted when users need to test a migrated project from CBSFDVL.
    • CISCO VPN is needed.
  • CBSFSTG (STG): Used for troubleshooting and proxy purposes. 
    • CISCO VPN is needed.
    • Staff trying to use STG should use this link.
  • CBSFPRJ (PRJ): Used for maintenance pack testing.
    • CISCO VPN is needed.

Undergraduate Education & Academic Planning's (UAEP) EAB student work center.

The administrative site on parchment allows you to search for orders, fix any issues that may arise, and process refunds if necessary.

The ticketing system utilized by ITS, the Bursar's Office, and HR. This is the administrative login, and access may be restricted based on user permissions.

The Office of Student Conduct (OSC) at SF State supports the University’s educational purpose and goals set forth by interpreting and enforcing standards of student behavior, related policies and procedures under the State of California Code of Regulations, Title V, sections 41301-41304 through Executive Order 1098, Student Conduct Procedures.

Staff training portal

  • Request email accounts (virtual inboxes)
  • Edit department email
  • Setup up for email forwarding.
  • Add or update the external email on file.
  • SF State uses your external email address when it cannot reach or identify you using your SF State email address.
  • If you do not want your external email address imported into the service management system, select "Do not import into the service management system."

Enter a SF State ID, SF State email, or SSN to lookup: 

  • University ID
  • Names
  • Emails
  • Authentication History
  • Status

Admin locks and other student student account issues must be directed to the ITS Accounts Login page for assistance

The application supports Firefox 24 ESR, Safari 5.1.9 or greater, and Safari 6.0.4 or greater.

IT Support staff for your department will enable printing from staff computers. Provide printer details to ensure user(s) can print to the correct printer.
